How It Works
I want this site to be a visual feast for those of us that like to step back in time. My interest in a particular image may cause me to do a detailed scan and then a huge blowup on the screen. I can see, especially in a sharp photograph, a huge amount of minutia that can tell a story in its own right. A friend once told me that he collected "narrative" pictures, simply put he wanted his pictures to talk to him.
Share. It can't be too big a deal to send me a favorite of yours. Just attach it as .jpg or whatever and send it to the address in the link "Submit Your Old Photo". If you know a good, free WordPress plugin that will allow uploads of picures, please send an email.
Comment. I don't want to dominate the image with my dialog, so I suggest you use the comments to share your impressions. And... this ain't no highbrow discussion, EVERYBODY"S opinion has the same weight here.
